Been searching the forums but can't find a concrete answer to this problem.

I'm using RC3 and Joomla 1.5.7 and the GD2 libary for image processing in CB (though the problem also happens with imagemagick).

Basically, when I do a front-end registration with an avatar image upload, I get no errors at all, but the image isn't uploaded. When I try to add an image to a profile in the back-end, I get 'The file exceeds the maximum size of kilobytes'. There is just that blank space between 'of' and 'kilobytes' - no number is displayed.

I have increased the filesize limit in CB configuration to 5MB and I'm using very small test files, so I'm sure the files are not over any limit.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!
