I saw a post about this describing how to do it for joomla 1.0..but how could I approach this with the latest community builder version and jooomla 1.5.

Username is not really public (they use their email address to sign in)...so the username requirement (to recover passwords) is creating more trouble than its worth (security wise).

I am looking at the comprofiler.html.php, but I am not sure what would be okay to "remove" in this case.

Please help/anybody got ideas!

Also, when someone submits a request for a "forgotten password" their is no message after (saying, we have sent your password...or something along those lines).

Where do I add this in?
