I am aware that this question has been posted before. But I can't get it to work. Can you please spell out in n00b language the instructions given here: www.joomlapolis.com/content/view/407/37/

I have conducted a normal installation (I think) and now would like to have an item in my main menu: "Members" that does the equivalent of the "CB Lists" button found in the left side of the screen on this very site.

Whats up,

Go to Joomla backend and click "menu". If you want the link in your user menu, click "user menu". Then click "new" in upper right.

Choose the type "link url" in the lower right corner.
Click next:
Then paste in the code:
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList

Make sure it is published and save it.

That should do it. I hope.

Now my problem is that the names are displayed in white (or perhaps thay aren't there), only thing there is an invisible link (which you can click on and get directed to profile page with).

Any clues?

Not sure if you need to change the color of your font or not. Do you have a dark background somewhere else on your site that has white fonts?

To define what shows up in your cb list go to:

Community Builder >> List management

It looks confusing at first but you'll get it.

Go to the bottom of the page where there are fields that are asigned to certain columns in your list. You'll have to play around with this to see how it works. You can do alot with it.

Hi. I have tried following these instructions to the letter, but I am having no luck. I receive a message that page cannot be found.

If I have created a list with the name "Some List" for testing, how do I find the URL for that list?
