[SOLVED] Community Template was created by mstanden
Hi, i purchased the community template which i am very happy with. It all installed perfectly and integrated with CB lovely.

I have a couple of problems with the new CB menu.(see screenshot)

1./ The icon next to Send Private Message is missing

2./ When you click Request Connection, the box comes up but is half off the sceen to the left.

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to solving these problems.

Was not able to duplicate the display of the PMS link, what PMS are you using? Have you reviewed your documentation to ensure the module is configured correctly and your menu plugin configured correctly? Was able to confirm your issue with requesting a connection. This is the JS in cb.menu.php that controls the menu display.

The following is a core modification and thus unsupported; please be advised of this as we can not offer support for issues pertaining to modified code!

Hi krileon,

Thanks for code mod, worked a treat.

I am using uddeIM as my pms, everything else is working fine, all other icons are there, have checked all configurations and cant find out the prob. Any ideas?

Hi
Ive had a look at the css but can see no apparent reason why it wont show, if i swap the code from send email to send private message still nothing shows. Also when you hover over the link it doesnt change colour like the rest, but the link still works.

Ive just has a look at the menu with Firebug, great tool! and posted a screen shot. I have highlighted where i think the problem lies

That would be a problem, for some reason your language string is translating while in the class. This isn't supposed to happen (nor can duplicate). Ensure you've not made any changes to the strings or something as such to cause this. It should be cbMenu_UE_PM_USER. Ensure you're running CB 1.2.1 (do an expert upgrade to be sure, you will need to make menu change again afterwards). I suggest reviewing help us help you as more information is needed.
