Michael,
I missed your edit above regarding your PHP version. You can look in the back end at Help/System Info to find the actual version being used. Right now, you're using PHP 4. As noted in the package download, you'll need PHP 5 (preferably 5.2.10 or later but not 5.3). Your host should be able to assist you in upgrading, since PHP 4 is obsolete and no longer supported.
