Basket non-existant was created by 3cellhosting
Hmmmm!

Client has user who registered a subscription, paid via PayPal, funds showing in account, but subscription not completed as no basket exists.

I have 4 records in system for this customer...

12:42:31 PDT Success
12:42:43 IPN Basket non-existant Verified

History shows...

04/06/2009 21:51:30 User subscription record created with status: R
04/06/2009 21:51:30 Store payment basket

04/06/2009 21:53:30 2 updates to basket one with country_code and one without.

My concern is that the Company Name, which is a required field, was blank so this purchase should not have gone ahead in theory. Also the user profile has most of the fields blank.

Any suggestions?

Regards

David

Could you please clarify...

You have the invoice address fields set to required, correct? The user attempts to make a purchase, but has not filled in these fields, correct? The purchase then still goes through?

Hi Krileon,

These are required fields ...

First Name; last Name; Email; Username; Password; Company Name. Other fields are shown on registration but not required. I note that the user details do not include company name so I cannot understand how the purchase happened.

User has made a purchase but the basket is non-existant. I can see from the history that the customer completed most of their details and made payment via PayPal.

The subscription was not completed due to the non-existant basket, I presume. We have tested several times and have not been able to replicate this problem. Client is concerned in case this becomes an issue.

Is there any way to ascertain why there is no basket to match the purchase?

Let me know if you need more information or access to the site back end.

Many thanks.

OK - Found the problem, with some pointers from Beat ;)

I trawled the history log and found the missing basket, which had been deleted by the client during their testing runs!

As a note of advice - I did check the history log previous to Beat's advice but I was searching for the user name. In this case the record shows the user as the admin, as they changed the record. If I had searched for basket id I would have solved my problem much sooner!
