Have problem to control old subscription members!

14 years 10 months ago #102278 by makisnik
Before i turn my site to joomla and CBSubs, i had some monthly subscription members on paypal. For These members i did manually registration and i assign them to specific subscription plan. Now for each member at the end of the month i have to assign again to the same plan. The system doesn't auto-renewing them. For example looks like "1 month Active, expiring on 07/01/2009" :( . For the new members that they register from the new site i dont have any problem ... "1 month Active, expiring on 06/18/2009, auto-renewing"

Do we have any solution for that?

Those users will need to resubscribe and select the auto renew option or resubscribe to trigger the usage of auto renewing.

Just let their subscription expire and have them renew when it's time to renew. This should then trigger usage of auto-renew. Auto-renew is part way CBSubs responsibility and part way payment gateways responsibility (PayPal in your case).

Just let their subscription expire

As a monthly subscription member on paypal, never his account is going to expire if they don't ask.

and have them renew when it's time to renew.

you mean, they are going to create an other subscription on paypal.

My question is: if i can assign them as administrator to auto-renew plan without give them hard time to Unsubscribe?

or otherwise do it manually
