SOLVED:Crashes to Admin Login was created by skosloff
I am in the process of installing CB Subs and when I click on the CB Paid Subscriptions plugin link I briefly see the menu page and then it crashes to the Joomla Admin Login page.

We're running PHP 5.2.9 and we meet all of the system requirements (we're on a dedicated Rackspace server). We are using Joomla 1.013.

I reviewed my server error logs and did not see anything related to CB.

Any ideas on what I should try next?

Could you please be more specific? Any errors in joomla with debug mode on and error reporting on maximum? PHP error log? SQL error? Have you tried re-installing CBSubs? Ran CB Tools?

Please be aware you're using a version of J1.0 that's 2 versions behind. Your problem may resolve it self by upgrading to 1.0.15, which is the latest J1.0 release.

I had already tried re-installing. There are no SQL errors. I did run CB Tools and the CB database is fine. The CB plugins database gives me warnings on CB Paid Subscriptions Database Structure Differences (i.e. Table #__cbsubs_currencies Column base_currency type is char(3) instead of varchar(3)) but I ignored those for now as I did not think they were related to the problem.

I rechecked my system error log and found something I had missed:

PHP Notice: Undefined property: cbpaidBotMainframe::$_ in /var/www/html/mysite.com/components/com_core360realestate/seo/Metadata.class.php on line 24

I'm not sure why the CB paid Bot is referring to another component. Line 24 of that PHP file reads:

$mainframe->_head = $mainframe->_.

Is it a conflict with variable names?

Are you sure that you are using the version of the bot that came with CBSubs 1.0.1?

Please unistall bot and install new one just to be sure.

The new bot should ignore these messages.

Thanks for the reply. I'm installing the bot that came with the zip package I downloaded today. Once again I reinstalled it and have the same problem - the Payment Center loads and then it crashes.

I just had a thought and sure enough it fixed the problem. The Item ID Compatibility Mode in the Joomla Global Config was set to Joomla 1.011 and before. Once I changed that everything worked.

Thanks for your help. I'm looking forward to testing the capabilities of CB Subs!

I was wrong, that didn't solve the problem. It worked the first time I went in after changing the global config, but now it crashes again.

I'll upgrade to 1.015 tonight and see if that fixes it.
