Ok, I reinstalled my backup and am starting from scratch.

Now I have my SSL cert installed and working but not able to login to my site on front end. Force SSL is on and also on cb login 1.2.1. Joomla 1.5 login is disabled.

Any clue what might be wrong anyone?

CB doesn't just magically stop working, inspect what you've changed or installed in past days after the issue presented it self. Revert those changes or installs and see if issue resolved.

The SSL cert was not installed properly. So fixed that and disabled the CB login. Now we can login however, not update site without "Session expired enable cookies error..."

Ensure you're not jumping back and forth from HTTPS to HTTP as it will continue to expire your cookie over and over. If wanting to use HTTPS then please set the CB Login module to use HTTPS.
