CBSubs 1.1 is still moving forward. Don't have a release date, sorry. We're currently testing new implementations and updating documentation so would like to say "soon".

My records on my recent cbsubs setup show payment date 31/12/1969

Is this the same problem as has been reported already here?

If it's from an offline payment, yes. This is already fixed in next release.
