Language Override was created by LikeStuff
I copied the language file, made changes to it, then placed it in /language/overrides/default_language.php but the changes I made are not showing. Does the language override not work for CB?

In order to override content in the default language file (/language/en-GB/), we would put the content in the en-GB.override.ini file here (/language/overrides/). There seems to be a different way for CB as I don't see a language file language/en-GB for it.
How do I override the language for CB please? Or is it just not possible?

CB uses its own CB Language plugins.

Ooops! Maybe I replied too quickly. I just want to clarify something...
Is this the process if I want to change the text that is currently in the English Language file? I don't really need to create a plugin in order to edit text or do I?

You need to install the English language plugin and modify strings in it to your liking.
