I am getting the following AJAX error message when trying to update a user e-mail in the user profile:

"You cannot profile a `registered`. Only higher-level users have this power. "

I need to press "ok" twice OR first choose a new field before I hit "ok" to make it work. It updates the e-mail correctly, but the error message shouldn´t be showed.

What could be the issue here?
