Somone might be able to say this better, or post it in a better location, but here's some PHP related help I needed with CB RC3 (I think - it's late)

I had many many problems getting some things working. after reading much - taking a few days off, I finally discovered how to get php 5 working.

I had 5.1?? (can't remember it's late) in cpanel, but not in Joomla's system stats. I thought this had to be a problem on my end, and read some here, but never found the answer, but it was pretty easy, but hard to find.



The domain server I am on has BOTH
PHP5.?? and PHP4.?? on it.




If you KNOW you have php 5 installed,
(via cpanel or other php script)

Add the following line to your .htaccess file so as to use PHP5:

AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .php


(Did I say it's late) - whew hope this helps someone work less hours than I did...
