[SOLVED] Error - undefined index: cvv

14 years 3 months ago #120260 by lexxm
Dear CBSubs developers, I need a hand with an "undefined index: cvv" error I'm getting for file cbpaidsucbscriptions.creditcards.php when I'm attempting to make a credit card payment through Authorize.net. Everything works fine in test mode under HTTP, however when I'm switching to HTTPS under Settings > Credit-cards I go into an infinite loop when I click on one of the credit card icons to make a payment, and I remain on the same screen. The History Log reports a series of error log events with the following message:

NOTICE: Undefined index: cvv in /home/ocradg0/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/processors/cbpaidsubscriptions.creditcards.php on line 0

I’m on the live production server and my environment is as follows:
Private SSL certificate + dedicated IP
CBSubs 1.0.3
PHP 5.2.9

I should also note that credit card payments through Authorize.net work without problems on the same website via a different Joomla extension, which I am currently working on replacing with CBSubs, as I believe it's by far superior. If only I can get the Authorize.net payments working!

Any clues what the above error could be? Please let me know if you need admin credentials to have a look at it. Thanks very much!!

And if you start accessing your site with www.example.com/ ?

Not quite sure what you mean... access my entire site with https://...? Isn't there a way to make the swich on the fly between http and https, only for those pages dealing with payments?

I thought this is what the "User login session on https switchover" setting was for, that CBSubs would make the switch automatically for those pages. Is this not the case? If so, what am I missing? Where do I need to make that change to https?

no, i asked you to try if accessing your site homepage from https:// and then going to pay works.

CBSubs does switchover fine, no worries.

So problem is most probably in your https setup. In that case, the entire site would not work correctly. That's the purpose of that test.

I'm lost here... If I try accessing my site with mysite.com it redirects me to mysite.com so I cannot do that test. Maybe that's the problem I'm having with the payment screen in cbsubs, that I am being redirected to http. Am I missing anything in my settings?

Sounds like an issue with your site; it shouldn't redirect from https to http with a valid certification. This is likely the root of your issue as it is attempting to switch to https it then redirects back to http and causes it to fail. Examine your htaccess file to ensure it's not redirecting away from https as well as consult with your host.
